How did it begin?

You may be wondering exactly how/when/why our little band of fuel economy warriors got together?

At first glance, answering such a question may seem quite easy. However, in our particular case pinning down the exact dates and times can be very difficult.

Why you may ask?

Basically, its due to the fact that the core members of the team have known each other since school. And the foundation of our common goals could be traced to numerous conversations throughout the years....

But when exactly did it all come together? When exactly did we become a team?

If I had to narrow it down, I would have to say that it really started in the later half of 2008. It was during this time that we decided to form the team and participate in the Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE competition.

It is during this time that we took our common interests in: reducing the demand for oil, protecting the environment, helping people save money on fuel, etc.  And officially began to work on bringing technologies forward that could assist in reaching these goals.  All in an attempt to show the general public what could be possible.... Now and in the future....

Afterall, you don't know what you don't know until some helps to enlighten you....Huh?

And the rest....as they say....is history....
